A hydrating serum for your skin barrier—REVIEW SNP Peptaronic Serum (ENGLISH)
SNP is so well-known to Indonesian beauty enthusiasts nowadays. As for me, I’ve known SNP since their sheet masks entered the Indonesian beauty market.
I think this brand rocketed up ever since their Peptaronic line launched. I’ve seen many Peptaronic line reviews on social media, such as Instagram, TikTok, or blogs. I already wanted one merely because of the pretty packaging. Even before I read those reviews! Let’s break it down:
- The sticker design is minimal yet pretty,
- The transparent bottle makes the bubbly gel visible, and
- The shape of the bottle is considered unique as a serum bottle
Now you know why I think everyone would want even just by seeing the product, right?
I’m one lucky girl who got the opportunity to try one of the many Peptaronic products. It is the Peptaronic Serum! After researching this product, I can tell you won’t just love the packaging but also the price point for the volume! Furthermore, this serum contains six types of peptide and five types of hyaluronic acid, which will make your dehydrated skin screams happily.
I can’t with myself! It’s only the intro, but I already spilt many good points about this serum. Let’s see if this product is perfection or not. Please keep on reading!

Packaging
It’s a medium-sized sturdy transparent plastic bottle. The fact that it’s transparent makes the pretty texture visible. The texture itself is a pink gel with bubbles in it, v aesthetic. It looks even more visually pleasing because of the simple-yet-cute sticker design.
The weird thing is this serum is different compared to other serums because it has no dispenser (i.e. pipette, pump, etc.). It only uses a flip-top cap, and you have to shake it to dispense the product inside. Until this review is up, I haven’t found any problem regarding the missing dispenser. We’ll see how it’ll work later when the product is almost finished. Don't forget to follow my Instagram as I’ll update it on my Instagram story!
Scent
It has a floral, fresh, and green kind of scent. It reminds me of apple peels, but even more fresh, fragrant, and has a floral touch. So good!
Sadly, it comes with a price. The scent is a bit strong.. So, I think, if you're sensitive to strong fragrances, you might need to buy the sample size first to test your tolerability.
The texture of this serum is a light gel. Initially, I thought it’d have a dense gel kind-of-texture after seeing the product through the transparent bottle. It is lightweight, easy to spread, and absorbs quickly. Once applied, this serum gives my skin a glowing and well-hydrated look. Can’t imagine it? Look at the picture above!

Thoughts
I thought I’d love this serum, but.. heck yeah, I do! ;P
My skin is the dehydrated-prone type, so I love anything refreshing & hydrating for my skin. This Peptaronic Serum, for sure, falls in that category, so it’s no wonder I love it so much.
The hydration it gives is pretty intense—at least for me. It must be because of the 6 types of peptides + 5 types of hyaluronic acid in it. Those two ingredients are best known for their powerful hydration and the ability to repair the skin barrier. You might ask if this product has benefits other than hydration and repairing, and the answer is no. Which is okay. This product was never claimed to do things other than hydrate the skin anyway, so.. don’t expect it to solve every single of your skin problems.
This hydration-focused/centred kind of skin care is very versatile as you can use it not only as a main serum but also as a supporting one. Use it as a supporting serum with your actives—vitamin A, C, AHA, BHA, you name it. This serum will make sure your skin is safe from irritation and dryness.
Besides what it does to my skin, I also love the texture of this serum. It has a lightweight gel texture that melts into a watery texture once applied to the skin. Also, it absorbs quickly, so it doesn’t significantly prolong the duration of my skincare routine. This kind of texture, and the quick absorption, would be loved by either oily or dry skin owners.
Overall, I think this is a perfect hydrating serum! The only thing I’d minor-ly (lol) complain about is the fact that the bottle is a hard plastic kind. This means I’ll have a hard time emptying every gram of it since I can’t squeeze the wee out of it. We’ll see about it later, though. Still the best hydrating serum I’ve ever tried!!
Oh, by the way. SNP was doing me a great favour by, not only sending me the serum, but also a bunch of sheet masks & samples! I can’t make a blog post out of the samples as they’re practically just one-tries, so I’ll post it to my Instagram story only. Check it out if you’re interested!
Suitable for
All skin types. Especially for you who has dry skin, or troubled with dehydrated skin. This serum would make a good companion for the sensitive skins as well, as it’ll soothe, hydrate, and protect the skin from irritation when you use it with the actives.
