REVIEW Citra Coconut Water + Blueberry • Multifunction Gel & Juicy Sheet Mask
To be real honest with you guys, I don’t usually use a multifunction gel. I’m not an anti of that or I hate such product, it’s just not my cup of tea. You know what I’m saying? But, when I saw Female Daily announced that Citra held a Try & Review event with them for their newest products, the Blueberry Multifunction Gel & Juicy Sheet Mask, I had to applied because I was so curious with one of the two main ingredients used on both products. It is coconut water! Ah, I was so happy when I got selected to be one of the lucky reviewers.
I don’t post any sheet mask reviews on my blog, I usually post them only on my Instagram story and Female Daily account. But, as this product came as a set with the multifunction gel, I’m going to put the sheet mask review below, too (first in my blog history!). Please keep on reading to find out how I feel about this new variant from Citra!

It has a strong & sweet coconut scent. When this product first came, I opened the box, I could easily smell the scent already. It’s that strong, the product didn’t even have any leak whatsoever. The scent is very long-lasting, too.

A lightweight & watery gel texture. Very easy to spread.

Thoughts
This multifunction gel is quite different from any others that I’ve tried before. It’s different as in it’s more watery, very lightweight, and I’d consider it as fast-absorbing. There’s a refreshing, cooling effect from this product once applied. You know, the result you typically get when you use a hydrating instead of moisturising product. That makes me feel like I need a heavier body lotion/cream on top of this gel whenever I use it on my body. It’s as if I’m using a toner for my body. I like to use it when the weather is hot and humid, and/or when I want to use something with a lingering scent because the scent of this product stays for a long time.
This product is claimed to apply to both body and face. Honestly, I was terrified to use this on my face because of its strong scent. Moreover, the fragrance in the ingredients list is placed quite up high. Even though so, I still tried using it on my face several times. Unfortunately, the result turned out to be pretty disappointing. It felt like I’m using a toner with a cooling sensation, just in a gel form. The brand also claimed that this product can be used as a makeup base, a moisturiser, or a sleeping mask.
As a makeup base, I don’t think it suits that claim whatsoever. This product might hydrate the skin, but the hydration isn’t enough to make the makeup on top of it to be easier to apply. This also doesn’t leave any tackiness that might help to stick the makeup onto the skin. I conclude that I don’t get any beneficial result from this product as a makeup base. As a moisturiser, well… As I mentioned before, I personally feel this product hydrated more than moisturises. I expect my moisturiser to be able to seal the hydration I packed from other skincare. So, it’s also no. The last claim makes more sense to me, but still, it doesn’t give me much benefit anyway.
If you have sensitive skin, please do a patch test beforehand. I mean, if you’re about to use this product on your facial skin. Merely because the fragrance is placed quite high in the ingredients list. So, yeah, I think I don’t really recommend this product to be used on the face.
Suitable for
I don’t recommend this product to be used on the face. It is based on my personal experience, but, if you still want to try it that way, or you feel like that way is beneficial for you, then it is good for you :) It suitable to be used on the body’s skin when the weather is hot and humid. It also suits people who often use closed clothes, so you don’t feel stuffed.
Pros
+ it doesn’t feel heavy on the skin because it is lightweight, and, as a multifunction gel, it’s quite fast-absorbing
+ the scent is overwhelming. This can be both pro or con, depends on your preference. It becomes a pro for me if I use it on my body because the scent stays for a long time
Cons
- it doesn’t have any significant effect on the face, it just merely give additional hydration
- the scent is overwhelming. This can be both pro or con, depends on your preference. It becomes a con for me if I use it on my face
Overall rating
3.5/5
• Glow Recipe Juicy Sheet Mask Coconut Water + Blueberry •
Price
IDR17,500 for 1pc/25g.
Packaging
Citra’s sheet masks’ designs are fascinating, indeed. I love it! It has a picture of blueberry and coconut, matches the ingredients used for this product.
Scent
It has a scent, but it’s not as overwhelming as the multifunction gel.
Tissue & Essence
The tissue used for this sheet mask is pretty thin. The size is a bit longer than my face, but it doesn’t bother me.

Thoughts
Just like the gel, this product supplies more hydration rather than moisture. It feels refreshing as it gives a cooling sensation when used! I’d describe the feeling as if I’m providing water for my skin to drink, haha. Very suitable to be used when the weather is hot. It matches the claims very well. Very recommended!
Suitable for
Every skin type. But, if you’re dealing with fungal acne, please consult with your dermatologist first.
Pros
+ very refreshing
+ affordable
Cons
- still contains fragrance. It doesn’t really bother me because it is not located high on the ingredients list. It also doesn’t irritate my skin
