I realise that I can’t buy any high-end product at the moment, so I never do any research about any of them. If I watch a beauty vlogger and he/she is talking about a high-end product, I automatically ignore what they say (I’m afraid that I’m going to get a big urge to buy one). I also usually skip reading blogger reviews about them. That’s why when I got the opportunity to try two products from Lancôme, I got very excited! I finally know how it feels to put on some pricey stuff on my face, lmao. Even though they’re in sample size, I’m still so happy. Please keep on reading if you want to know what I think about them!

It has a quite strong scent. It smells kinda like a rose. Well, I’m not sure if it’s a rose or another flower scent, but it surely has a quite strong floral scent. Even though the fragrance comes out pretty strong, I somehow like it because it smells great, elegant, and has an expensive perfume vibe.

It has a medium to high coverage… at least on my skin. This shade suits my medium skin tone well, but I found it lacks a bit of warmth. Maybe it has a neutral undertone. I forgot to count how many hours it lasted on my skin, but I can tell it has great longevity because it’s still on my skin when I was about to clean my makeup at night (I applied it in the afternoon). It doesn’t get patchy too.

The texture is liquid and it’s very easy to blend. The finish of this foundation is natural or satin, I think. It’s not a matte finish foundation.

I’m so happy to have the opportunity to try this product! This is my first high-end foundation, and it is soo good! It looks a lot like skin since it sticks on the skin perfectly, easy to blend, not patchy nor crack. I think it has a medium to high coverage, but I don’t know if you can build it to full coverage or not since I haven’t tried it yet (I don’t want to waste it, LOL). At least the redness on my skin can be covered, and the hyperpigmentation can be hidden. It also even out my skin tone and makes my skin looks healthy.
This foundation is very comfortable to use, even if you use it the whole day. It doesn’t make my skin look greasy even though it has a natural-satin finish. My skin still gets oily if I don’t use the foundation with powder, but it’s not a bad greasy-looking kind of oily (you know what I mean). The coverage is not easily lifted when I blot my face with a tissue, so it doesn’t look blotchy. Ah, seriously though, this is the best foundation I’ve ever tried! It’s such a shame that the price is too high for me at the moment. I promise myself that one day I’ll buy this foundation in full size :)
Oh, another information for you guys who are interested in buying this product, I totally recommend you use this foundation with Rosé All Day Reales Lightweight compact powder. Thank me later!

There’s a subtle scent but I can’t tell what scent that is. The foundation’s scent is way stronger than this one, so this one doesn’t bother me at all.

I’m in a dilemma because I can’t tell if I’m happy or am I sad that I don’t feel any improvements from this serum. Am I supposed to be happy because I know I can’t repurchase this, or am I supposed to be sad that this expensive serum doesn’t work well on my skin?
Anyway, I think this serum doesn’t give me any significant change. Fortunately, though, it doesn’t break me out. I agree with the instantly hydrating claim, and I kinda agree with the radiant skin claim. I mean, yeah it makes my skin looks glowing, but it doesn’t change that much. I totally disagree with the smooth skin claim as my skin texture doesn’t improve a bit when I used this product.
Well, every skin’s different. My skin just doesn’t get along well with this expensive serum. But, I’m still genuinely happy that I got to try this serum even though just the sample size. Maybe I’ll buy the full size one day to try it for a longer time, who knows if it will work better if I use it longer?

Since I didn’t feel much improvement in myself, I can’t really tell who I should recommend this product to. But, if we judge it by the description and claims given, I’d recommend this product for people with more mature skin.
